東京都中央卸売市場板橋市場に入荷したバラの写真です。当時、バラの品種は800種類ほどあり、色、香り、形は様々で芸術家の名前が付けられたバラたちに魅了されました。

These are photographs of roses delivered to the Itabashi Market, part of the Tokyo Central Wholesale Market. At the time, there were around 800 varieties of roses, each with its own unique colour, fragrance and shape; I was captivated by these roses, many of which were named after artists.

Roses grown in the Netherlands, 2005–2012
These are photographs I took during a rose-growing tour of the Netherlands—a world leader in floriculture—in the autumn of 2005. They show roses still in the trial stage, not yet available on the market. They were so beautiful that I couldn’t help but take lots of photos.
